Residential and Commercial Inspections in Toronto

Buyer’s Home Inspection

Our inspectors will start with the exterior of your new property beginning with the roof.  Then they move through the exterior looking for cracks in the foundation, visible signs of water damage from rain, snow or mould. They will then move inside and check all plumbing fixtures, including sinks and tubs. We are looking for leaks that could lead to expensive repairs down the road.

The inspectors will check electrical components such as panels, wiring and outlets for safety before moving on to examine heating/cooling systems.  The last stop is the attic.  Insulation type/amount, roof structure, animal activity and mould are all things considered and reported on.

Seller’s Home Inspection

If you are selling your home, it's important to make sure the house is in the best condition possible.

One way to ensure this is by getting a seller's home inspection before putting it on the market. A seller's home inspection will provide an independent evaluation of your property and its systems.

This includes evaluating items such as roofing, plumbing, electrical wiring, heating system, and more. Not only does this protect you from any surprises that might arise when potential buyers start inspecting, but also makes for smoother negotiations with buyers during the closing.

Commercial Inspection

Commercial property inspections are an important part of the commercial real estate process. They provide a snapshot of what is to be expected in the way of repairs and maintenance issues, as well as identifying any safety hazards that may exist.

Commercial property inspections can also help you determine whether or not your investment meets your needs and expectations by providing information on the building while you focus on market value analyses, income-producing potential, zoning compliance, environmental concerns, etc.!

The results will include a written report summarizing all findings for each area inspected and photos where applicable so you know exactly what to expect.

The Home Check is a leading residential and commercial home and property inspection company serving the Golden Horseshoe. After over 30 years in business and thousands of satisfied customers, we are equipped to help you with your needs as well.
